Nicky Shorey moves to the Hawthorns

WEST Brom have signed former England full-back Nicky Shorey. The 29-year-old has signed a two-year contract, with a further year option, after moving from Aston Villa for an undisclosed fee.

"I'm delighted to welcome Nicky to the club," said West Brom manager Roberto Di Matteo, who has already signed Pablo Ibanez, Steven Reid, Boaz Myhill and Gabriel Tamas.
