Smells like a good deal for Christies
THE remnants of a smashed bass guitar from Nirvana’s Smells Like Teen Spirit video are to be sold for up to £25,000 next month.
The band’s Krist Novoselic bought the Zen-On bass from a pawn shop prior to the 1991 video shoot.
It will be sold by Christie’s in London on 29 November.
