Projects share cash windfall

TEN community projects in the Lothians will share a £500,000 windfall as part of a European funding scheme.

The biggest winner is Gorebridge Community Trust which has banked a 250,000 award for a new community hub.

East Lothian counselling service Crossreach scooped 87,048 for its work. Other beneficiaries included Midlothian Tourism Event Programme (42,300), Peter Potter Gallery in Haddington (36,480), Pathhead's Seed to Soup project (29,299) and Artlink (23,010).
