Drive safely

Lewis Hamilton telling his team not to talk to him when he’s taking bends – “it could make him crash” – should beg the question: Why aren’t drivers caught talking and texting while driving being banned from driving, as they are for drink driving?

Don’t we have more than enough fatalities, particularly as reaction time is reduced by 35 per cent when people are on the phone?

With an NHS on the road to disaster, and crashes and congestion costing billions, it’s surely a no-brainer.
