Homes plan at top estate

A NEW set of homes is set to be built at Scotland's most exclusive housing estate under plans submitted to council chiefs.

Hamilton & Kinneil Ltd has applied for permission to create eight houses at the Archerfield Estate near Dirleton, East Lothian, which includes two new championship golf courses.

Plush mansions on the estate cost up to 2 million and have access to courses where members include football stars Alan Shearer and Ryan Giggs.
