SHAUN Maloney arrived in Glasgow last night to open negotiations over a possible return to Celtic.
The 25-year-old, who left the champions for Aston Villa in January 2007, could be signed ahead of tomorrow's game against Falkirk.

And Celtic midfielder Paul Hartley has backed Maloney to be a success second time around at the club.

He said: "It's a good move for him and for the club. We are always looking to improve and he is another good player. We have a good squad as it is now and we know Shaun can play in a number of positions. He had a good spell at Celtic the first time, so I'm sure he will do well again. I played with Shaun at international level and know what he can bring to the team."
